1L Crosswise Hot Water Bottle Cover - Petrel and Piccalilli

If you're feeling chilly and looking for a cosy way to warm up, this mini 1L hot water bottle cover is just what you need. It includes a 1-litre hot water bottle and measures approximately 28 x 16 x 5cms. The cover is cut and sewn from 100% Lambswool jacquard bases, to give them a wonderfully soft feel. You can easily remove the hot water bottle from the cover's opening at the back. This makes it a great gift for someone special or a perfect treat for yourself.

This cover features our Crosswise pattern in Petrel grey and Piccalilli yellow. All of our Jacquard patterns are designed by Candy Coated Accessories in our home studio here in the North East of Scotland.

Hot water bottles with wool covers have been a popular choice for many generations for their practicality and versatility. Not only do they provide warmth and comfort, but they can also be used for various other purposes. Some of the common uses for hot water bottles with wool covers are:

Pain relief - hot water bottles can help alleviate different types of pain, such as muscle aches, menstrual cramps, and joint pain. The warmth from the hot water bottle can relax tense muscles and provide relief.

Stress reduction - holding a warm hot water bottle can have a calming and soothing effect, helping to reduce stress and anxiety. It's like receiving a warm hug, which can be incredibly comforting.

Aid for sleep - some people find it easier to fall asleep when they have a warm object to cuddle with. A hot water bottle can create a comforting and sleep-inducing sensation.

As you can see, hot water bottles with wool covers can be incredibly useful, and they have been relied upon for generations due to their practicality and versatility. I hope that my covers not only provide comfort but also an additional source of joy.
