Lambswool isn’t just any wool. It’s softer, finer, and naturally insulating, making it perfect for keeping your feet toasty without overheating. Unlike synthetic socks, lambswool is breathable, and temperature-regulating, meaning your feet stay warm when it's cold and cool when things heat up. They're also moisture-wicking, but hold on what does "moisture-wicking" mean? I had to look it up the first time I heard the term. Basically, a moisture-wicking fabric serves two main purposes: first, it quickly moves (or "wicks") sweat to the fabric's outer surface, and second, it dries rapidly to prevent your sweat from saturating the fabric. This quality is especially beneficial for socks, as it helps keep your feet dry and fresh, reducing the risk of irritation and odour. So, thankfully, you won't find any smelly socks here!

Our socks are designed in our home studio in the North East of Scotland, and knitted by a small family-run business in the Scottish Highlands. They're available in five colourways and two sizes, S/M (UK woman's size 4-6) and M/L (UK woman's size 7-9). We've added a small percentage of nylon to the heel and toe of the socks to create longer wear. We recommended them to be worn at home with soft souled slippers or shoes.
