In 2003 I graduated with an honours degree in Constructed textiles at Duncan of Jordanstone college of Art and Design in Dundee.

After attended New Designers in London that summer I gained a placement with knitted accessories company Tait & Style in Orkney. After seeing how an established company operated and from many years of sewing experience from working at bridal shop H.J.S in Fraserburgh I decided to start my own business. This is when Candy Coated was formed.

Candy Coated aims to show case my beautifully crafted products. I hope you find them as interesting as I enjoy making them.

While growing up in a rural environment drawing and making has always been a passion of mine. With a keen interest in art through out school it was clear that university was the next step.
